Apple Configurator 1.7.2 Dmg
Apple Configurator is a practical and simple to use utility specially designed to help you configure and deploy iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, and Apple TV devices at the same time. The Apple Configurator application is available for free and can be downloaded and installed via the Mac App Store. Feb 14, 2018 Apple Configurator is a free tool that lets you set up and supervise iOS devices. The app was thought out for users of multiple devices, especially for companies, corporations, and even schools who have to configure multiple devices at once. Apple Configurator makes it easy for anyone to mass configure and deploy iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch in a school, business, or institution. Three simple workflows let you prepare new iOS devices. Someone sent me a copy of Configurator 1.7.2, and it will not work on OSx 10.6.8 OR iOS 10.13.13. Is there a solution to my dilemma? No one from Apple has been able to help yet. In fact, Configurator 1.7.2 is no longer available in the App Store, and I'm uncomfortable downloading it from a 3rd party domain (untrusted). Use the Mojave/10.14 version to 'purchase' Configurator 2.8(.x) for Mojave while logged in as the user in question (with his/her Apple ID, or one that you will be managing). Then, on that user's computer running 10.13, log in to the App Store and click on Configuration 2 (as it will show up), and you'll be offered to download the last.

Create, install and remove the configuration profiles used by your iPhone to store security policies, VPN information and various settings, with this useful application
Configuration profiles contain information about your device’s security policies, VPN, Wi-Fi, APN, Exchange account and mail settings, as well as authentication credentials.
iPhone Configuration Utility allows you to maintain, sign, install and remove these profiles, manage authorized applications and capture device information.
Superseded by Apple Configurator, but can be helpful for users running older OS X versions
It should be noted that Apple recommends you use the new Apple Configurator to perform these tasks, as the older app is no longer supported. However, it may be useful for those who have older OS X versions installed on their Macs.
Configuration profiles can help large businesses standardize their devices so that they can function efficiently and conform to an existing IT policy. The created files contain, among others, general device information, security settings, restrictions, Wi-Fi and VPN configurations.
Support for effortlessly creating profiles and distribute them to numerous devices
Once a profile has been created, it can be installed directly to an iPhone connected via USB or saved and distributed using other means. You can also manage provisioning profiles, install or remove applications, view and save console logs.
The iPhone Configuration Utility application features a minimalistic layout, and all of its primary functions are easily accessible. You can switch between devices, view applications, profiles and console logs without having to navigate through complicated menus.

Straightforward interface that focuses on providing functionality
While you can create profiles without having access to an iPhone, you need to connect it via USB to perform any modifications to the device. Once it is detected by the application, you can install any previously created configuration profiles very quickly.
Overall, this is a helpful tool that allows you to manage existing configuration profiles, create new ones and distribute them. The newer Apple Configurator can help you perform the same tasks, but if it is not compatible with your system, iPhone Configuration Utility is a good alternative.
