The ID card can be found when the window is open, on top of the window sash. Although there is a lot of information only parts of it are relevant. All you need to note down for ordering is the Serial Number and Window Code. On the images below we have circled where these are.
  3. Locate your Unit ID/Serial Number on your window or patio door. Identify Material & Product Identify the material type and product line, then click on your product type (below) to determine the name of the part.

Reminder: when entering your e-mail address into the wizard, make sure is is the one used when you ordered WindowBlinds online. If you have changed your e-mail address since purchasing WindowBlinds, e-mail the old address and the new one to wblinds@stardock.com and we'll get it changed. When entering your serial number, please be careful (we suggest cutting and pasting) because a '1' can look a lot like an 'l'. If you have

There are a couple of places you can check for your serial number.

1. the original order email from Stardock

2. if WindowBlinds is already installed and registered, your serial number can be found in the registry (use REGEDIT) under the Path2 key at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREStardockWindowBlindsWB5.iniINSTALLED.

3. If you have lost your original order e-mail (say, you needed to reformat), visit http://search.objectdesktop.com/search/serialwizard.asp and your serial number will be e-mailed to the account you used when ordering.

When using the wizard, we suggest copying/pasting your serial number into the appropriate field to prevent typos (make sure there aren't additional spaces after the text though). Also, the initial WB portion of the serial is a part of it, don't leave it off. :)

Reminder: Object Desktop customers should download WindowBlinds via the Component Manager. The wizard here on windowblinds.net won't work for you.
